Mowing service is provided by our trained and experienced crew, we use regularly maintained professional equipment. Regular service includes use of 21” mulching mowers, string trimming of areas the mowers cannot reach, edging with steel blade edger and power blowing clippings from paved areas. We service front, back, and side yards as part of our mowing service.
Regular Mowing Service Options:
- Weekly service guarantee: If for any reason you are not satisfied with the service or if you think we did not show up, just notify the office within one day of service and we happily provide a redo of service at no additional charge.
- We do not offer credits for missed mows or missed areas.
- A minimum commitment of 6 mows is required to begin regular service.
- A $25 early cancellation fee is charged to accounts cancelled before end of the 6th mow.
- Above pricing is based on lot size. Regular lot is under 8500 sq ft. Large lot is 8500-13000 sq ft. For larger lots please call for an estimate.
- Please be advised that most yards will not look their best (in season) with less than weekly service. Our guarantee to redo is limited on Every-Other-Week accounts. For instance we will not a provide redo for a EOW lawn because you would like it cut shorter. If you are particular about the look of your grass, the lawn should be on weekly service during the fast growing season.
- Bagged clippings $5 additional charge, billed in addition to regular service fees.
- Bags are set the curb for pick up by City Services. We supply City approved bags.
- To haul off & dispose of bagged debris, a charge of $8 per bag is applied billed in addition to regular service fees
- Regular mowing does not include weeding of beds or string trimming in beds
Other Mowing Service Options:
- One Time service is a professional touch-up to your lawn as a supplement to regular homeowner care.
- Thursday and Fridays are our busiest days, and availability is limited. One Time mows will only be performed on Thursday or Friday if our schedule allows.
- A one time mow will not bring an overgrown lawn under control. Please tell us up front if the grass is extra long. If the grass is over 6" tall when our crew arrives a $25 trip fee will apply, and we will reschedule the job for our cleanup crew to allow sufficient time to do the job properly. Hourly clean up rates will apply, however we will deduct the $25 trip fee from final service charge.
- We do not offer redos for one time mows
- Scalping is when we drop mower cutting height down to ½ - 1 inch and begin mowing. we offer this service in Spring and Fall.
Spring scalping begins in February and Fall Scalping begins in September.
- Scalp in fall for cool grass over seeding applications and appearance
- Prior to green-up benefits from early season scalping include: earlier spring green-up, control of some winter annual broadleaf weeds, and removal of some debris that could contribute to thatch accumulation.
- Scalping creates a good bit of debris, the price of bags, bagged clippings of dead plant material removed from scalping process is included. Clippings will be bagged and set at your curb for pick up.
- Charge of $8 per bag applied if we haul off & dispose of bagged debris.
Additional Services:
- Includes trimming and shaping of shrubs, weeding of beds, cleaning up leaves and power blow areas clean of clippings.
- After the minimum is met work will be billed by the 1/4 hour.
- We work very fast, if you have a special request or would like us to concentrate on a specific area please let us know in advance so that we may best accommodate the service we provide to you.
- Gas powered equipment is used unless otherwise requested.
- Clippings and leaves will be bagged and set at your curb for pick up by city services. City approved bags are supplied by BKL.
- A charge of $8 per bag will be applied to haul off & dispose of bagged debris.
- Trailer loads of debris are $175 per load.
- We recommend adding mulch upon completion as a weed inhibitor, to protect plants from harsh summer and winter conditions. Mulch conserves moisture, lowers watering costs, adds an improved aesthetic appearance to your home and places valuable nutrients back into soil.
- Free Delivery of Mulch If Installed during a cleanup.
- For use on older shrubs out of proportion with surroundings and large amounts of unproductive wood. We use selective pruning to restore and reshape the plant.
- After the minimum is met work will be billed by the 1/4 hour.
- Clippings and leaves will be bagged and set at your curb for pick up by city services. City approved bags are supplied by BKL.
- A charge of $8 per bag will be applied to haul off & dispose of bagged debris.
- Trailer loads of debris are $175 per load.

- Bedding mix $125/Cu Yard. a blend of compost, pine bar & find sand, ideal for new plant beds.
- Organic compost: $125/Cu Yard. Add microbes & organic matter to enhance soil. We apply a 1/8" layer over lawn as top dressing.
- Mixed soil with compost: $125/Cu Yard. Blend of sandy loam & compost screened.
- Rose Soil: $145/Cu Yard. Great for ornamentals, holds water better.
- Texas Select : $185/Cu Yard. screened top soil, level low spots in turf.
